Positive thinking.
Our bodies hear everything we say. Our subconscious mind speaks to us but only in terms of yes and no. One way to listen to your subconscious mind is by noticing the tension in your body. A way to practice this is to just say, "NO!" in various ways to yourself. No. Never. NO NO NO, Not Ever, NOOOOOO. NOO WAY!! You can use different tones and volume. Then, Pay attention to your body. Does it contract? tighten? Does your breathing stop? go shallow? How do you feel?
Then say "Yes" YEESS, Yes Yes yes! Of Course". Smile as you "say yes, yes, yes, yeeeesss!" How does your body feel now? Expanded? Softened? Relaxed? That is your subconscious mind speaking to you.
You are made up of 70% water. Dr Masau Emoto of Japan studied water and found water has memory and that the crystalline ice structure of water changed depending on the various words, music, feelings to which the water was exposed. Water exposed to Positive emotions formed symmetrical and aesthetically pleasing ice crystals where as water exposed to negative emotions formed cells that looked like mutations and resembled disease.
Looking at the ice water images can have a profound affect on you. You can see the difference, one feels whole and beautiful, the other broken and distorted. How do you feel when someone uses compassionate, loving , positive words when speaking to you? How do you feel when someone uses hurtful, negative, words when speaking to you?
Words do matter. How we speak to ourselves and to others matter.
Walk in a beautiful European cathedral and you immediately feel the peace and calm energy. Walk in a room after people have been verbally fighting, and you feel tense, uncomfortable, and can't wait to leave. Words carry energy.
Begin to listen to how you talk to yourself. Do you feel good? or bad? Happy? or Sad? Tense? or relaxed? Every cell in your body is listening to you. Positive thoughts and words create an environment of health. Negative thoughts and words create an environment for dis-ease.
